Terms and Conditions
Terms and Conditions for Using SiteRocket SEO Services
These Terms and Conditions explain the expectations that apply when you use the SiteRocket SEO website, request a consultation, purchase services, or work with us on a website, SEO, launch, social media, Google profile, hosting, or support project.
1. Who We Are
SiteRocket SEO is based in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.
Website: https://siterocketseo.com
Email: hello@siterocketseo.com
2. Acceptance of These Terms
By using our website, submitting a form, booking a consultation, requesting a quote, purchasing services, or working with SiteRocket SEO, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.
If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use our website or services.
If a separate written agreement, proposal, invoice, or statement of work is provided for a project, that document may include additional or more specific terms for that project.
3. Services
SiteRocket SEO may provide services including, but not limited to:
- Website design and website updates
- WordPress, HTML, or platform-based website support
- SEO setup, on-page SEO, keyword guidance, and visibility tracking support
- Google Business Profile setup, cleanup, and optimization
- Social media setup, profile cleanup, and brand support
- Business launch setup, including website, email, forms, profiles, and online presence guidance
- Website maintenance, troubleshooting, content updates, and ongoing support
- Hosting guidance, hosting support, domain guidance, and connected tool setup
The exact services included in a project will depend on the quote, package, proposal, invoice, or written agreement provided.
4. Consultations, Quotes, and Scope
Free consultations are intended to help us understand your needs and recommend a practical next step. A consultation does not create an obligation for either party to move forward.
Quotes and proposals are based on the information available at the time they are prepared. If the project changes, expands, or requires additional work, pricing and timelines may need to be updated.
Work outside the agreed scope may require a separate quote, written approval, or additional payment.
5. Client Responsibilities
To complete work properly, clients are responsible for providing accurate information, timely feedback, needed approvals, and access to relevant accounts or materials.
This may include:
- Business details, service information, pricing, offers, photos, logos, copy, and brand assets
- Website, hosting, domain, Google, analytics, social media, email, or platform access when needed
- Reviewing work and requesting changes within reasonable timelines
- Confirming that supplied content, images, logos, trademarks, and materials may legally be used
- Maintaining ownership and control of core business accounts where possible
Project timelines may be delayed if required materials, approvals, payments, or access are not provided.
6. Access to Client Accounts
Clients may choose to give SiteRocket SEO access to websites, hosting accounts, domains, WordPress dashboards, Google Business Profile, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, social media accounts, email tools, or other platforms.
We only use account access as reasonably necessary to provide requested services. Clients are responsible for maintaining ownership of their accounts and may remove our access when work is complete or no longer needed.
For security, clients should avoid sharing personal passwords where a user role, collaborator access, manager access, or secure invitation can be used instead.
7. Pricing, Payments, and Taxes
Pricing may be listed on the website, provided by quote, or included in a proposal or invoice. Website pricing shown on the website is a starting point unless clearly stated otherwise.
Final pricing may depend on page count, platform, content needs, forms, integrations, hosting, email setup, SEO needs, access issues, revisions, urgency, and project complexity.
Payments may be collected through the website, invoice, payment link, or third-party payment processor such as Stripe, PayPal, Square, or another provider. SiteRocket SEO does not intend to store full credit card numbers directly on its own website or systems.
Applicable taxes, transaction fees, third-party costs, software costs, hosting, domain fees, plugin fees, licensing fees, or platform fees may be charged separately unless included in writing.
8. Cancellations, Refunds, and Paused Projects
Cancellation and refund terms may depend on the service, project stage, package, proposal, or written agreement.
Because many services involve custom planning, setup, strategy, design, content, technical work, or reserved time, completed work and time already spent may be non-refundable.
If a project is paused due to missing information, delayed feedback, unpaid invoices, or lack of access, timelines may change and restarting the project may require updated scheduling or additional fees.
9. Timelines and Revisions
Project timelines are estimates unless a specific deadline is confirmed in writing. Timelines may change due to client feedback delays, platform issues, third-party delays, access problems, scope changes, or technical complications.
Revision rounds, if included, will be described in the relevant proposal, package, invoice, or agreement. Additional revisions or major changes may require additional fees.
10. Third-Party Tools, Platforms, and Hosting
SiteRocket SEO may recommend, configure, connect, or support third-party tools such as WordPress, hosting providers, domain registrars, Google tools, analytics tools, form tools, booking tools, payment tools, email tools, plugins, social platforms, or marketing software.
Third-party tools are controlled by their own providers and may have their own terms, pricing, privacy policies, features, limits, outages, and changes. SiteRocket SEO is not responsible for third-party platform decisions, outages, policy changes, account restrictions, price changes, or service interruptions.
11. Website Content, Client Materials, and Approvals
Clients are responsible for ensuring that all materials they provide are accurate, lawful, and approved for use. This includes text, images, logos, videos, testimonials, reviews, service claims, pricing, trademarks, and business information.
Clients are responsible for reviewing and approving website content, forms, links, business details, legal pages, and service information before launch or publication.
12. Intellectual Property and Ownership
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, clients own the final custom website content, designs, and deliverables created specifically for them after full payment has been received.
SiteRocket SEO may retain ownership of pre-existing tools, templates, methods, processes, code snippets, design systems, strategy frameworks, internal documents, and know-how used to create or support the work.
Third-party assets, fonts, plugins, software, stock images, themes, templates, or platform features remain subject to their own licenses and terms.
13. SEO, Marketing, and Results Disclaimer
SiteRocket SEO may provide SEO, Google Business Profile, content, website, social media, and marketing recommendations designed to improve clarity, visibility, trust, usability, and customer action.
We do not guarantee specific rankings, traffic levels, leads, sales, revenue, Google placement, Google Maps placement, conversion rates, or business outcomes. Search engines, platforms, competitors, market conditions, algorithms, customer behavior, reviews, location, website history, and many other factors can affect results.
Any examples, estimates, or recommendations are for planning purposes and should not be treated as guaranteed outcomes.
14. Website Care, Maintenance, and Hosting Support
Website maintenance, hosting support, updates, troubleshooting, plugin support, content edits, and technical assistance depend on the package, platform, access, hosting setup, and scope agreed to in writing.
Some issues may be caused by third-party plugins, hosting providers, domain settings, platform changes, malware, user changes, expired licenses, unsupported themes, or external services. Additional work may be needed to diagnose or resolve these issues.
15. Confidentiality
SiteRocket SEO aims to treat client information, project details, account access, business information, and non-public materials with care and discretion.
Clients should not send highly sensitive information unless it is necessary for the requested service and an appropriate method of sharing has been agreed upon.
16. Communications and Promotional Emails
By contacting SiteRocket SEO or becoming a client, you agree that we may send service-related emails about inquiries, consultations, quotes, invoices, projects, updates, support, and account matters.
If newsletters or promotional emails are sent, we will aim to follow Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation requirements, including consent, identification information, and an unsubscribe option where required.
17. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SiteRocket SEO is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, lost business opportunities, platform outages, third-party failures, or search ranking changes.
Our total liability for any claim related to services is limited to the amount paid by the client for the specific service giving rise to the claim, unless a different limit is required by law or agreed in writing.
18. Indemnity
You agree to hold SiteRocket SEO harmless from claims, losses, damages, liabilities, costs, or expenses arising from information, materials, instructions, approvals, access, or content you provide, your use of the website or services, or your violation of these terms, unless prohibited by law.
19. Privacy
Use of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy. By using our website or services, you also agree to the collection and use of information as described in that policy.
20. International Clients
SiteRocket SEO is based in Canada and may work with clients in Canada, the United States, Europe, and other regions. Clients are responsible for ensuring that their own business, website content, services, policies, and legal obligations comply with laws that apply to them and their customers.
21. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time to reflect changes to our website, services, tools, legal requirements, or business practices.
The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
22. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Quebec and the applicable laws of Canada, unless another governing law is required by law or agreed in writing.
